【摘要】:Dilutesolutionviscosityvaluesforvinylchloridepolymersarerelatedtotheaveragemolecularsizeofthatportionofthepolymerthatdissolvesinthesolvent.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedilutesolutionviscosityofvinylchloridepolymersincyclohexanone.Theviscosityisexpressedintermsofinherentviscosity(logarithmicviscositynumber).Thetestmethodislimitedtothosematerialsthatgiveclear,uniformsolutionsatthetestdilution.Note18212;OtherexpressionsforviscositymaybeusedasdescribedintheAppendix,butanychangefromthetestmethodasspecifiedshallbestatedinthereport.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note28212;AlthoughthistestmethodandISO1628-2-1998differinapproachordetail,dataobtainedbyeitheraretechnicallyequivalent.
