【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverheatingappliancesratedat600VorlessforuseinunclassifiedlocationsinaccordancewiththeNationalElectricalCode(NEC),ANSI/NFPA70.1.2TheserequirementsdonotcoverelectricheatingequipmentorappliancesthatarecoveredbyindividualrequirementsthatareseparatefromthisStandard.1.3ForthepurposesofthisStandard,aheatingapplianceisdefinedasanelectricallyenergizedproductthatdirectlyorindirectlygeneratesheattoperformitsintendedfunction.1.4Theserequirementsalsocoverelectricallyenergizedproductsthatgeneratesteamforotherthanspaceheatingpurposesandhaveanelectricalpowerratingof15kWorlesspersteamgeneratingvessel.1.5Steamgeneratingproductsofthetypedescribedin1.4havinganelectricalinputpowerratingofmorethan15kWpersteamgeneratingvesselaretobeevaluatedbytherequirementsintheStandardforHeating,WaterSupply,andPowerBoilers–Electric,UL834.1.6Eachsteamgeneratingvesselinamulti-vesselunitshallcomplywiththeserequirements.Theunitshallalsobeprovidedwiththemarkingin47.37.
